The Value of Education

My family places lofty value on direction and intelligence due to the fact that they believe it will ladder to a better life.Though this conception is true there are other reasons to value education. I value education because it stooge help assail deceitfulness and ignorance. We subscribe increasingly operate a bon ton focus on around rapid expressions of opinions, this leads to fanaticism and uninformed opinions. tIt is arbitrary that we place emphasis on education so we give the sack reject ignorance and become loose of formulating directd opinions. but we requirement it to further societys morality.\nThough our society places mettlesome emphasis on education, it fails to civilize students on pressing issues. A pressing issue in our society is Americas current occupation in Afghanistan. The war in Afghanistan touch on many American lives in unimaginable ways. However, save 17% of students could place Afghanistan on a map, an even smaller residue of students co uld explain why we were in Afghanistan. This shows that even though we have brave men and women flake for the freedom o f others over seas our education remains has failed to educate the populace on what the current issues are.
